How to use the Online Catalog

Finding items
To request an item online
To renew a checked out item online

Finding items:

  1. Keep your search simple.

    1. To search by author, use last name [e.g. Morris] or last name, first name [e.g. Morris, Gilbert].
    2. To search by title, use any keyword from the title. The name of a series may be searched as part of a title.
    3. Subjects may also be searched by a keyword.

  2. If you retrieve too many items when searching by one field, try a combination of two, such as Author [e.g. Morris] and a title [e.g. seven sleepers] or subject keyword.

  3.  Entries are NOT case sensitive but do require correct spelling and word order.

  4. Magazines are NOT listed and cannot be requested or renewed online.
